Three years going on forever

I am baffled by the thought that it was three years ago that we got married. I could have sworn we were just high school seniors driving around in the old orange chevy. Sure glad that chevy lead us here. Happy, married, and more in love than that sweet day I made a husband out of him.

We each got to choose one activity for the anniversary.
He chose shooting with a mustache. (see below photos)
I chose vegas without a mustache. (see above photo)
I sure love my Mr. Hafen.
Forever and ever babe.

A perfect day

Broc has been working a lot lately. He has recently been promoted (which makes me a very happy, proud, and bragging wife). Seriously though, I am so lucky to have such a hard working man. The only problem is that I am a pretty demanding wife when it comes to family togetherness time so I requested in advance that we spend all day Memorial Day together. We spent the first part of the day in Springdale and then downtown at the splash pad and ended it in the pool.
I will let the pictures do the talking because this day was perfection.

Valentines Day 2013

Valentines day this year was on a Thursday,
the one day I don't want any special day to fall on.
Broc has classes late into the night every Thursday so the chances of us seeing each other for more than an hour were not good.
Instead, we planned "Valentines weekend".
Pretty good alternative.
So Valentines day I spent with this little one.

This Valentines was the 7th anniversary of our very first date!
Hard to believe I have liked this guy for that long already.
He spoiled me rotten.
Dinner at Benja's, Ulta shopping spree, and a planter for my kitchen window.
Sure love my Valentine.

Norah gave her daddy his favorite candy- nuts.
Silly boy. Doesn't he know that nuts taste better wrapped in chocolate?

And I made a vegetable arrangement for the hubs.

We sure are blessed to have so much love in our lives.

a name and a blessing

Yesterday was such a perfect day.
Our sweet little Norah was blessed by her father.
We got her all dressed up in the blessing dress I wore almost 24 years ago.
When we walked into the chapel I was overwhelmed with love as I saw that most of the bench seats were taken up by our family members.
How blessed we both are with such amazing, supportive and BIG families.
Broc gave the most simply beautiful blessing that I have ever heard.
The four things he blessed her with were joy, service, testimony and gratitude.
If only we all could remember to have those four qualities in our lives.
We could not have dreamed of a more perfect day.
Thank you to all who shared it with us.
